Rest Day
RestDay-9If I had to describe the day off excursion shortly I would call it... "too short"! This would by no means be a criticism but a confirmation of the fact that beautiful moments fly away too quickly. We had lunch at an authentic Iranian restaurant followed by a visit to the Molid Tower, one of Tehran's landmarks, visible on the tournament poster but also through the windows of our hotel rooms!

Difficult to resist...

... the Iranian souvenirs.

I have the feeling that selfies will never get out of fashion

RestDay-9
Enjoying the views of Tehran

The players soon lost themselves in the jungle of various materials, textures and colours, at least as complex as the variation labyrinth on 64 squares.

RestDay-19
Which scarf to take? Difficult to choose from the abundant options...

RestDay-20
A well spent rest day!

RestDay-22
On Tehran's streets and the famous dates

RestDay-23-2
Chess is appreciated and played all over Iran, even at nighttime!

After such a "training", we are ready now for the fifth round!
